Contributor Gary Krakow reports there are rumors that Research in Motion’s next touchscreen smartphone – dubbed the Storm 2 – will have Wi-Fi – if Verizon allows it. Usually they don’t (cut into data profits) – but there’s word that Verizon’s parent company, Vodafone will.

Iphone 4 loses reception and bars decrease when holding the phone in many positions. Holding the phone “wrapping” your hands around the antenna will make you lose a call. I have a good reception and never have (had) any drop calls in my area. But after several dropped calls and 2 weeks of Iphone 4, I noticed it was all true. The key is put down touching the 2 metals and the “BLACK LINE” on the left side of the phone; the bars gradually decrease to it being Out of Service! It is insane to have this problem with such a great phone. My razr v3 and black jack did not have this problem. Not even my Iphone 3G was as vulnerable as this new gadget. Should there be a recall? or a compensation? I am disappointed.

Kok Hoe & Bit’s Wedding (29 May 2010)

I didn’t have chance to meet up with Kok Hoe and Bit until the final week before the big day. During the discussion, we decided to have a pre-wed shooting at Suffolk house. That was carried out 1 week before the wedding day. It was very tiring in setting up the giant crane under the hot sun but the beauty of Suffolk kept pushing me to carry on. The couples were very sporting luckily. Thanks to Chan and Bit and also Jason from Floralsense Creation. The shooting, a combination of DVX and 550D to deliver some shallow DOF in this film. But it is not as shallow as i expected. I should have thrown in the f/1.2. Another new gadget in used was the Glidetrack shooter. So panning and tilting while gliding is no longer an issue now.
